My tax dollars are only going towards abstinence only education...
...And that pisses me off!
I just don't get it... how can we tell all of the 13, 14, 15 and 16 year olds with hormones jumping around in their bodies that the only way to go is to not go at all? Should absitnence be part of a comprehensive sexual education program? Absolutely. But should the federal government stick it's head in the sand, disregard proven statistics showing the benefits of contraception and only fund absitnence only education? ABSOLUTELY NOT! I just love how the President and his administartion say they respect the seperation between church and state on the one hand but then hand out federal dollars based on their religious views on the other... or they've had such a tramatic childhood that they can't remember what those puberty urges felt like.
