Moving big levers a little bit CAN produce big changes!
We face enormous problems and as anyone who has been paying attention for the last few years, Bush 2.0 isn't solving them. This administration is VERY good at playing politics... and they don't want to move big levers just a little bit, they want to move them all in their favor without any consideration of the other side. I believe that when it comes to such huge and troubled issues like our deficit, social security, the war in Iraq and health care, if we come to the center and moved the levers that affect those issues just a little bit, over a couple years, that little movement could create big benefits... the problem is that Rove and company like playing politics too much and will never come to the table looking for common ground that could moved those levers. It's a shame they're not PURPLE!
