Warrant-less wiretapping by the NSA...
Got into a debate today with a former colleague about the NSA's warrantless wiretapping... we were debating (maybe arguing) about how I felt that the loss of civil liberties was a victory for the terrorists while he was saying that since he wasn't doing anything wrong, he was fine with the government listening in on his emails, phone calls, web searches, web surfing, etc. When I mentioned the possibility that the administration could potentially use the data mined in the operation to influence our own election process, he responded by saying, "At least our team is in the White House."... he doesn't know I've turned PURPLE over the past couple years and I didn't feel like telling him either.
