The "not-endorsing-endorsement"...
Here at MrPurple2008.com, I am not going to endorse either a Republican nor Democratic candidate during the primary season but I will state my not-endorsing-endorsement for both the Repubs and Dems.
On the Repubs side, and even though I'm very passionate about the separation of church and state, my not-endorsing-endorsement goes to RUDY GIULIANI. Having gone to college at NYU and then coming back to New York City after stepping out of politics during 2000, I have seen and followed him in action and have been very put off by his decisions and his communication of those decisions. There is a big difference between Rudy on 9/10/01 and 9/12/01. For my specifics on why Rudy shouldn't be elected President:

There is a big difference between Rudy on 9/10/01 and 9/12/01. For my specifics on why Rudy shouldn't be elected President:
- After the WTC bombing in 1993, Rudy didn't fix faulty radios that needed to be fixed and then caused too much human loss of the Fire/Police departments on 9/11/01.
- After the WTC bombing in 1993, Rudy still chose WTC 7 as the location of the New York City emergency management bunker. This decision was based on the fact that Rudy wanted to be able to walk between City Hall and the bunker, disregarding suggestions to move the bunker to Brooklyn underground but above the flood plane.
- He continues to say that he created a surplus for the NYC government but when Mayor Bloomberg was sworn in he was left with a 4 plus billion dollar deficit.
- He takes ALL the credit for the reduction of violence in NYC but it was Mayor Dinkins, in his last year in office, who hired the additional 5,000 police needed to reduce crime. The crime reduction began before Rudy was sworn in.
Now for the Democrats...
On this side of the isle, Mr. Purple's not-endorsing endorsement goes to HILLARY CLINTON. Instead of giving a list of specific reasons why HRC shouldn't be elected, I'll say that with her as the Democratic nominee, we take a big step back to the 1990's during the height of the nasty, ugly and highly partisan fighting. This divide has been increased tremendously during the last seven years of Bush 2.0 so I'd like to see a candidate on either side be able to help bridge these differences. HRC is not that candidate no matter how much experience she brings to the table.
