The rebirth of Mr. Purple for the 2008 Presidential slugfest...

For all of you frequent readers of Mr. Purple, Thank You!  Your emails and comments of support over the years through some pretty tough times and critisism has meant the world to me... so thanks.  As you can see, these are our new digs for the 2008 election cycle... And what a cycle it's shaping up to be since both HRC and Rudy are coming back to the pack in the polls as they sprint to 1/3/08 in Iowa. Now, I've imported all of my old posts into this new site so new readers can catch up and see where we've been but unfortunately, it didn't make much sense to transfer all the comments due to constraints on server storage so please understand why they're gone and start commenting anew on posts both old and new... and don't forget to sign up for our new email alerts.

Now to all you new readers to MrPurple2008.com, WELCOME!  As you can read here(if you haven't already), my first blog post way back when in Oct. of '02 explains who I --Mr. Purple-- am and why this blog was started. From those days of breaking stories and calling bullsh*t on the Bush 2.0 administration through today, this blog and the blogosphere in general has undergone an extreme transformation.  You're more than welcome to jump in and start reading from today forward though I would suggest taking a look at our archives to see what Purple means to me, how my story has unfolded and why the Bush 2.0 administration (starting with a push poll in 2000 against McCain in South Carolina) has turned my affinity for Republican Red to Independent Purple.
