This is the kind of stuff that really burns me...

...when it comes to Bush 2.0.  If you read here, from a favorite site of mine TPM, how Bush pulled a "pocket veto" on the defense spending bill even after negotiating for weeks with both houses of Congress on it, never bringing up his objection in regards to Iraq reconstruction and getting a veto proof majority of votes for the bill from both houses, pulling the pocket veto stunt surprised EVERYONE including the Department of Defense.  Having to jump through legalese hoops to even say that the pocket veto was legal since the Senate held pro-forma sessions over the break to stop such behavior is just the half of it...

But then when you read this by the Army Times, your blood will really get boiling!   Our soldiers who negotiated re-enlistment bonus' are now having their bonus held in limbo, with the potential for the bonus to vanish but still having to serve, while Bush stomps his feet and throws a tantrum over something he never even told anybody was a problem for him during negotiations on the bill in the first place... That pisses me off.  Playing politics with our troops has been Bush 2.0's modus operandi for far too long.  Nov. 2008 can't come fast enough.
