The unseen toll of Iraq and Afghanistan

As I've blogged before, I have a family member who has fought in three different wars, most recent in Iraq and that when he came home, we started to notice how his experiences over there were affecting him here... thus a diagnosis of PTSD.  I'm glad to see the NYTimes do a piece yesterday on PTSD, how it's affecting soldiers coming back from war and how the deaths associated with such illness has spiked.  That's the unseen toll of Iraq that we are getting a glimpse of thankfully due to the hard reporting of outlets such at the Times.
