Dear Super Delegates & Pledge delegates in FL and MI,
Dear Super Delegates & Pledge delegates in FL and MI,
As it turns out, you guys are more important than a lot of people thought a month ago. You're probably reveling in your new found position but I'd like to ask each of you a favor...
FL and MI pledge delegates, I think you guys should see what the national "score" is for Clinton and Obama on June 8th after every primary has taken place and distribute your delegates based on that number. Sure, it takes having any affect on the election out of the equation for you guys but you knew that when you went against the DNC's decision not to move your primary in the first place. Luck would have it that you guys would have carried more "weight" in the race if you kept your primaries where they were to begin with.
As for you Super D. people, please know that you should not be overruling the wishes of the American voters by brokering an agreement with one candidate or the other to get your vote. Traditionally, your role has been to back the candidate who has won the most delegates, states and votes. I ask that you resist the advances from both candidates from this point forward so the voters can speak for them selves.
Thanks for letting me get that off my chest.
Regards,
Mr. Purple
