Memo to Senator Obama
TO: Senator Obama
FROM: Mr. Purple
RE: A Pivot
Having just finished watching your victory speech for the Potomac Primary (MD, VA & DC) in Madison, WI, I was glad to see that you were able to combine your inspirational rhetoric with some depth on how you envision the change you speak of once you're elected President. This pivot is needed and a welcome addition to your recent victory speeches. The trick forward is to increase the communication of your policy solutions while marrying it to the inspirational tone you've become known for. It's a pivot that you started tonight and one I think, will serve you well.
I'm sure this pivot has been planned but as the Main Stream Media, Senator Clinton and Senator McCain continue to bring up the "where's the beef?" question, better to head 'em off at the pass than have to play catch-up.
