Are you scared yet?

This morning, Bush 2.0 again pulled the "scare tactic" card to convince the House to pass the Senate version of the "Protect America Act".  "At this moment, somewhere in the world, terrorists are planning new attacks on our country. Their goal is to bring destruction to our shores that will make September the 11th pale by comparison." Bush 2.0 warned and then went on to say, " The lives of countless Americans depend on our ability to monitor these communications."

Are you scared yet?

Don't get me wrong, we need to track communications of terrorists but when Bush 2.0 politicizes Al Queda's efforts to force the congress to pass a bill that strips more of our civil liberties away, Al Queda wins.  There is a way to track those communications without weakening our civil liberties but Bush 2.0 doesn't have any time for that.
