Why is violence down in Iraq?
Granted, the influx of U.S. troops into Iraq is a part of it but another reason why the violence is down, and one that Bush 2.0 & the MSM neglect to report much, is that Moqtada al-Sadr called for a cease fire of his Mahdi Army for six months that started last August. That cease fire is about to expire... and while Bush 2.0 says that it will be extended, there are signs that such might not be the case. Brian Bennett from Time Magazine explains.
