Karl Rove sounds scared...

Mr. Rove has penned an opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal saying that Obama's "pivot" on Tuesday night during his victory speech in Houston, TX has opened him up to any number of attacks since, in Karl's mind, he showed his true far left credentials instead of the centrist rhetoric he's been running with so far.  Not to get into the "facts" that Karl twisted to make his point, I will say that the article has a wiff of fear... the highly credited "Bush's brain" going after an upstart before he has the nomination in hand gave me a sense of desperation coming through Karl's words.  He's the one who anointed Senator Clinton the presumptive nominee a couple months back... funny how a few landslide wins changes his tune.  In fact, at the end of the article, Karl gives some pointers to Mrs. Clinton so she can beat Obama... I guess we know where Karl's heart is.

If Obama does secure the nomination and goes on to win the Presidency, that would be the biggest repudiation of the past 8 years that I can think of... maybe Karl just wants to protect his "legacy".
