This blog, way back when, was started in an effort to get the word out about a slimy GOP phone jamming trick I caught wind of that they were about to pull in the 2002 election to hold onto Sununu's seat. We helped to get the word out, people took notice, trials were had and people went to jail. Now, MSNBC is reporting that James Tobin, a former GOP official involved in the illegal activity, won't get the re-trial that was expected next week and instead have his case go back to the court of appeals to decide if he was charged with the right crime. The presiding judge says, "This call still remains a close one."
It's a little disappointing but I trust that the courts will get it right... and if they don't, the voters can make their voice heard in Nov. of '08 when Sununu tries to hold onto his seat this time without the illegal help of the GOP.
