Question about our recent missile strike in Somalia
Read today that the U.S. launched a missile strike against a terrorist target in Somalia. As I've stated before, this is exactly how I believe we should be fighting the war on terror.
My question, though, is this: Did we contact the Somalia government before conducting this strike or after it was already launched? Senator Obama has been heavily criticized by both Bush 2.0 and Senator McCain for advocating such strikes... I'm just interested to know if this is yet another example of saying one thing but then doing another while trying to score political points in the process.
