Hello Pennsylvania and beyond...
Even thought the results of last night's primaries in RI, VT, OH and TX did little to change the uphill battle that Senator Clinton has on her hands to win the nomination in terms of pledge delegate math, her wins in RI, VT and TX (the primary part) seems to have given her the justification she needs in her own mind to continue at least through PA on April 22nd... and what a long seven weeks it's going to be between now and then.
The only primary race that I vaguely remember (hey, I'm not THAT old) going all the way to the convention is from 1980 when Senator Kennedy and President Carter were going at to the bitter end... and the Dems lost the general to some Governor from CA named Reagan.
So, what can we expect moving forward? More Rezko and NAFTA questions for Obama and more inquiries into Clinton's tax returns and her White House schedule while she was First Lady... will it change the race? Who knows... 7 weeks in politics is a lifetime.
