Did Obama's NAFTAgate start with Senator Clinton?

The Canadian Press is reporting that the Prime Minister's chief of staff, Ian Brodie, is the first official to leak the NAFTAgate leak from the government but what's most interesting is this exchange in the article:

Mr. Brodie downplayed those concerns.

"Quite a few people heard it," said one source in the room.

"He said someone from (Hillary) Clinton's campaign is telling the embassy to take it with a grain of salt. . . That someone called us and told us not to worry."

Government officials did not deny the conversation took place.

Now that certainly changes everything, doesn't it?  A CLINTON campaign official called them to say "not to worry" about the NAFTA debate brewing on the campaign trail?  I hope to read more reporting on this as NAFTA is a BIG concern in PA just as it was in OH.
