We accept your resignation, Mr. Spitzer
Haven't chimed in on the whole Spitzer fiasco that has enveloped my (adopted) state for the past two days but now, since he's resigned, I would like to say thank you to Mr. Spitzer. He probably could have held on and resisted calls for his resignation while bringing the State's business to a continued, drawn out halt but he chose to do the right thing and resign. Unlike the other hypocritical politicians who hold on for dear life during such scandals, Mr. Spitzer did the right thing.
