Obama's Race/Religion speech today...
Here is a link to the text of Obama's speech today on Race & Religion in our country. Immediate response on the blogosphere has been a full range spectrum from hate to love; I'll leave it up to you to make up your own mind. I will say this though, our political system has become so transformed by the Internet and "quick response" politicking that I believe it hurts our process... and yes, I'm participating in that by blogging myself. This is a long, but needed, speech that anyone from Fox News & Redstate.com to TPM and DailyKos can find snipets to grab on to, to agree or disagree with... people should take the time to either read or watch this for themselves in its entirety before they buy into their "favored" network of spin.
Lastly, from a political strategy position, this speech was a ballsy move, no doubt about it.
