A note to Senator Obama
Dear Senator Obama:
You should acknowledge your lead in all three important metrics (pop vote, pledge delegates & states won) but also note that you haven't faired well with older, white, blue collar democrats. Acknowledge that weakness and ask them to give you a chance. Tell them that you understand how it might be hard for some of them to connect with what's happening online or in these large, stadium sized venues, or even get to information about him... most of it, online. Tell them that you are your own man; that you are going to stand up for yourself when attacked but will not initiate attacks not based on the issues; that you are not perfect nor ever could be but that you will surround yourself with the best, unfiltered by ideology or party, view on all the problems we face; that you believe we can get to a better place in our political discourse; that you believe we can if they give you the chance.
Sincerely,
Mr. Purple
