Just finished reading a profile for Meghan McCain and her "on the campaign trail" web log, McCainBlogette.com, in the Washington Post.
She was just 15 years old when I was working on McCain's run in 2000 so we didn't have much interaction but she seems to have grown into a very thoughtful and creative young woman. Even though she plays it off as not being "political" with her blog, she did post when the NYTimes came out with its story of a potential McCain affair with a lobbyist without even mentioning the article; the blog was titled: "Lucky Girl"... that's a political tactic that is pure genius.
One thing that I didn't know that I learned in the article is that Meghan voted for John Kerry in 2004... who'd a thunk it.
