Update on the fighting in Basra
CNN gives an update on the how the fighting is going in Basra... it seems that the Mehdi army has control of many different cities in the southeast section of Iraq. As for Basra, Iraq forces control about 25% of the city while the Mehdi militia controls the rest. In the words of one U.S. Military official: "This is going to go on for a while."
