Suggestions anyone?
As a break from my regular scheduled political blogging and after reading THIS ARTICLE about how to write a better blog, I thought that I'd ask the question to you, my readers... do you have any suggestions for Mr. Purple 2008? Do you want to hear more about my personal experience working in the trenches of our political world throughout the 1990's? Do you feel that my posts are "on point" and interesting or are they bland and generic? Do you like video content included? Would you like to see more video? Don't be shy about commenting to this post, you won't hurt my feelings...
Next weekend, this blog is going to begin a transformation that is a first step and will continue through election day 2008 as I begin to step out from the shadows of anonymity at the urging of my spouse... so your opinions about how this blog is put together and written will help in that process. I look forward to each of Mr. Purple's entries. I appreciate the' evenhandedness' of your comments. Your comments are insightful and even though I support a different comment, you don't offend. You make it so easy to follow events and keep up with all of the reactions of the other blogs as they unfold. Also, I can always count on you to provide video of speeches or interviews that I want to hear again or that I missed. I have come to relie on your blog to the exclusion of all of the others. Please do not change the format too much, although I am looking forward to meeting the mysterious 'Mr. Purple!
