And now it begins... Clinton's racial wedge is her reason for staying in...

I said that I was going to be keeping an eye on Clinton to see how she decides to run the remainder of her campaign and here we have an idea in today's USA TODAY interview with her.

To be honest, in my own mind, I was giving her the benefit of the doubt... I thought, how could she really keep going after Obama now given the rules of the game (even though those rules seem to keep changing in Clinton land) and the math that Obama's victories have presented.  Nonetheless, it seems that my thinking was wrong.  She is going after Obama in that article with the most divisive tact yet, race.  Race and gender are the two political wedges that neither candidate, until today, have wielded against each other and this change of events concerns me.   If Clinton believes that holding up the exit polls saying Obama's support of white voters with no college degree is weakening helps her cause, she is sorely mistaken.  She's just daring the super delegates to put her out of her misery... and this type of campaigning continues from her, they just might do that.
