Still investigating 2002 NH phone jamming
A House Congressional panel is currently investigating the 2002 NH phone jamming case that was the catalyst for this blog being created... I'm glad that they are not letting this one go quietly. Tobin, the man at the center of this whole thing, made two dozen calls to Ken Mehlman at the White House on or near Election Day 2002 so making the connection between the White House and NH State GOP doesn't seem like a stretch and personally, I DO NOT buy Mehlman's reasoning as just checking in on Sen. Sununu's race. But what this panel is also looking at is if the Justice Department held up the investigation of this crime during the run up to the 2004 election to help Bush 2.0 stay in the White House... that's the real crime that I'm REALLY interested to see investigated as we already know that there was no line drawn between politics and THE LAW at Bush 2.0's Justice Department.
