The man who brought down Karl Rove

The title of this blog post could be a future headline in the newspapers around the country if Congress gets to the bottom of Rove using the Dept. of Justice as his personal prosecution tool against Don Siegelman, former Gov. of Alabama.  Siegelman gives an interview that really outlines his case dating back to 1998 and how Karl Rove was there every step of the way.  I hope, no matter who wins the Presidency in November, he (or she; Clinton is still running as of today) will restore the checks and balances that have been jettisoned by Rove, Bush 2.0 and his administration in an effort to create a "permanent Republican majority".  Neither party, Democrats or Republicans, should ever again use the White House and the many agencies that are controlled by the President for partisan political gains.  Rather, the law should be the guiding principle that dictates actions like the prosecution of Don Siegelman, not some pipe dream that comes to Mr. Rove in his sleep.
