I'll tell you why Hillary is staying in the race...

While watching last night's primaries and for the past few weeks as a matter of fact, all of the pundits have been batting the "why is she staying in the race" question around and around and around... so I've decided to add my take to the discussion.

Hillary Clinton is staying in the race, even though she knows in her heart of hearts that she's not going to win the nomination, for history's sake.  After PA, we had to wait for NC and Indiana to really put things into perspective but since she's made it this far, there is no reason for her to drop out.  There are only a few more weeks to go and if she were to drop out now, the history books wouldn't tell the complete picture.  She is finishing strong and continues to add to her delegate and popular vote totals.  Fifteen or twenty years from now when the historians and pundits look back on this primary race, they will acknowledge how close it was and that Hillary really broke through the ceiling that will make it possible for the next female contender for President to bring it home.  So there you have it and I believe it's actually a very simple conclusion to come to... she's staying in for own legacy's sake and for the history books.
