Two faced McCain when it comes to Global Warming

On the one hand, McCain wants to lift restrictions to ban drilling for oil in the coastal waters of the United States while on the other hand, he wants us to believe that he is different than Bush 2.0 when it comes to global warming... I don't see how you can square the two. Drilling off of our coasts is a short term band-aid for a long term problem and if we apply that band-aid, it will only slow our progress to getting a solution for the long term problem of global warming... McCain's up with a new ad touting his differences with the GOP in terms of global warming and I'm sure his campaign is hoping that we don't connect these two dots... and by wanting to lift the off shore drilling ban, he's hoping the oil companies bite and support him with their lobbyists and dollars.
