RIP Tim Russet
It's a sad day today as Tim Russert is laid to rest. I keep going back to the picture below of James Carville and Mary Matalin on the set of Meet The Press during a commercial break... it really gets me. Having grown up in a family with a Democratic strategist Father and a Republican strategist Mother much like Carville and Matalin but a bit less noticable, in times like these, the hard ball world of politics melts away. Labels like Democrat and Republican are no where to be found when faced with such a loss and even though the hard knock debate that ensues when fighting over certain issues is real, the common thread of being American and believing in our great country always prevails.
RIP Tim Russert... you will be missed dearly.
