The playing of politics...
This is pure politics... if you remember from about two weeks ago, Bush 2.0, Senator McCain and Senator Graham all strenuously opposed Senator Webb's GI bill for increasing troops and veterans college education benefits. Today, Bush 2.0 is trying to take credit for this bill along with Senator McCain and others who opposed it in the first place. This is what politics is all about... hoping that the public doesn't notice your change of heart while embracing your foe's position when you know it would be unwise not to do so. ThinkProgress has the run down HERE but below is Bush 2.0 making his statement (at least he doesn't have the gall NOT to include Webb's name):
