What? You need reliable evidence to hold someone?
Bush 2.0 hasn't been on the winning side of any of the holes that various judges are poking through their Gitmo trials and the holding of enemy combatants. Now a three judge U.S. court of appeals has ruled that just because the government says it so doesn't make it so... I'm glad to see the rule of law poke its head out and slap down Bush 2.0 and his sorry excuse of a legal system for holding, charging and trying enemy combatants. I want any terrorist to fry just as much as the next but that doesn't mean that I don't want them to have their day in a court with a fair hearing. I'll say it again, being a true democracy is hard and when we cut corners like Bush 2.0 is down at Gitmo, we show the rest of the world that laws and liberty are just window dressing instead of what they should be... shinning examples of what makes the United States of America great.
