The NYTimes reports on the polishing and refining of John McCain's speaking style, teleprompter use and movement/verbal crutches that he uses when campaigning. Needless to say, I was talking about McCain's "My friends..." crutch way back on 2/1/08 and the article specifically uses that crutch as an example that he's trying to shed... could it be that McCain's strategists are listening to me? No, they know what they have to fix... it's just a matter of having enough tact in expressing those problems to Senator McCain... and my suggestion to them if they were listening? Where kid gloves.
