Digging deeper into McCain's first marriage

Yesterday, The LA Times dug deeper into the discrepencies regarding McCain's first marriage, how he's written about it in his book versus how things really went down in real life via court documents.  When we were fighting in the 2000 primary to get McCain the nomination, these questions were in the back of my head but since we never got the nomination, they didn't need to be explained.  I always knew that Nancy Reagan wasn't McCain's biggest fan but I didn't really know why until reading this article.  Believe me, back in 2000, I wasn't looking forward in the least to dealing with these issues or broaching the subject with the candidate.

On a side note, it seems as if Bob Barr's Libertarian candidacy is creating more problems for the McCain camp than they are letting on... as in, Obama leads McCain in AZ by 3 points while Barr is soaking up 7% of the vote there.  Boy, would I love to be a fly on the wall in McCain's weekend strategy sessions today...
