Patrick Fitzgerald: Rove tried to have me fired...
Some interesting Patrick Fitzgerald news is breaking today... namely that Fitzgerald now says that Karl Rove tried to have him fired while Rove was under investigation by Fitzgerald. Fitz makes it clear that Rove wanted him out to help out in a little case that he was conducting in Illinois but isn't it convenient that Rove could have "killed two birds with one stone" if he was in fact able to get Fitzgerald out? Just a mere coincidence, I'm sure.
