McCain should be nervous... Obama takes last week and the weekend

The last week, culminating with Obama's trip to Europe, Afghanistan and Iraq, has been a very good week for Obama.  Not only is he looking more and more presidential with his trip overseas, Bush 2.0 and McCain have come towards his positions on the need for more troops in Afghanistan (which Obama has been calling for for over a year) and for getting more diplomatically involved with Iran.  Both I blogged about last week as the events were unfolding.  Also, the President of Iraq, said that he thought Obama's plan of getting U.S. combat troops out in 16 months was just about right... until Bush 2.0 got to him to walk those comments back to say it was a translation error... which it seems we've had a lot of lately.

And after watching his interview with Lara Logan below, I think Obama's hitting on all cylinders.  The only question is, are the American people listening?  We'll find out in the next round of polls.
