Pardon me, PLEASE!

So how do you think Bush 2.0 will cover the a**'s of everyone who's broken the law under his orders should, by the off chance, Obama be elected and his administartion have a chance to review all of the documents that Bush 2.0 currently is holding under lock and key?  Why, he could issue 'Pre-emptive pardons'.

Bush 2.0 is known as a stingy pardon giver except when it comes to people like Scooter Libby who broke the law but since he was carrying Darth Cheney's water, Bush 2.0 gave him a pass.  I wouldn't in the least be surprised by this type of move coming from Bush 2.0 as he walks out the door on January 20th, 2009, the ultimate flipping of the bird to all his critiques, me included.  I mean, given how terrible his legacy is going to turn out to be, how could it get any worse?  The rule of law has always taken a back seat to Bush 2.0 and his administration who always believed that the law never applied to them... why stop now?

Slate asks and answers the question of whether or not Bush 2.0 can give a pre-emptive pardon... a pardon given to someone before they are charged with a crime.
