What's the best way to get Congress to act?
Make the minority so terrified of losing a ton of seats that the minority leader and whip don't keep their fellow Republicans in line so they can vote with their conscience instead of the way that the leader, the whip and the President want them to vote... except for "energy and national security". That's how so many Republicans were able to vote against Bush 2.0 and their leaders on the G.I. Bill, the Medicare Bill, the housing and the farm bills. I just wish that they voted with their conscience and by how they thought the will of the people in their state wanted them to vote more often instead of doing it because they are backed up against the wall in their toughest election season in my lifetime... and yeah, it's tougher out there than 2006.
