A great step forward in Iraq
News out today that Muqtada al-Sadr is disarming his militia and now aims to create it into a social organization to promote social services is a great step forward and one that removes one of the biggest hurdles the coalition forces faced. I know that much of this blog is about the "bad" going on in our politics, government and foreign policy so it makes me happy to blog about something like this... something that will make a big, positive difference on the ground in Iraq.
