Edwards' affair could REALLY HURT McCain?
That's what Josh at TPM thinks... he blogged over the weekend that he feels the Main Stream Media has treated McCain with "JFK rules" about the "friendship" that the NYTimes reported on back in February. As I said then, how to treat McCain's "friendship" with Ms. Iseman was debated internally during the 2000 primary because of how it could look on the outside. I was of the camp that believed it was just that, a friendship, while others weren't so sure... but the conversation didn't last beyond South Carolina so it became a moot point. Now though, McCain is the nominee and if the MSM does have more information, as Josh implies, then this presidential election could get a whole lot more interesting.
