Hagel as Obama's VP causes stress on both sides

I have been a vocal proponent of Obama picking Hagel as his VP... the AP dives into the issue today and finds that such a decision would cause stress on both sides of the aisle... go figure. Maybe this kind of stress is exactly what our political system needs at this moment in time... someone to come along and break the mold. An Obama/Hagel ticket would do just that. For some reason, I don't think Rove and company had such an idea in mind when they were trying to form their permanent Republican majority.
