McCain fundraiser promoted by Ralph Reed
TheHill.com reports that ethics groups in Washington are calling on John McCain to cancel a fundraiser that is being promoted by Ralph Reed. Why this is such an interesting story is that Reed was a close associate with convicted felon Jack Abromoff and Reed was on the receiving end of more than $4 million filtered to him through Abromoff. Now, how did we find all of this out? By a Congressional investigation headed by John McCain. Doesn't that make it interesting that McCain would allow Reed to promote his fundraiser? Let's keep an eye out and see if McCain goes through with this on Monday, 8/18.
