$1.75 million
$1.75 million is the amount McCain raised last night at a Ralph Reed promoted fundraiser last night. I actually thought that McCain would have cancelled the event given Reed's connection with Jack Abromoff and how McCain investigated Abromoff and Reed while digging into their lobbying ties... but cancelling the event would have been what the McCain of 2000 would have done... McCain of 2008 is happy to take their money.
