Senator Biden's plagiarism part II
Since writing this blog post when Biden was announced as Obama's VP pick, I thought that the article I linked to had all of the pertinent information regarind Biden's plagiarism flap... but I was wrong.
As I've kept an eye out for any reporting on this incident in Biden's past, I've come across two articles today that again throw this incident into the spotlight and require an answer from Senator Biden himself. Both Jack Shafer and David Gergen of Slate.com have pieces up about this plagiarism incident and others of Senator Biden's past. Both articles are written well enough to give me pause with regards to fully supporting Biden as Obama's running mate. That's not to say that if and when Biden re-addresses these issues that he won't win me over as a full throated supporter but given everything that is written in those two articles, questions must be asked and answered by Senator Biden himself.
Barack Obama is too good of a candidate to be dragged down by a plagiarism scandal by his VP pick ome 20 years ago... I'm sure Obama and his team are aware of these issues so now we get to see how they clean it up. Whay say ye, Joe?
