Mr. President, do you believe that John McCain was tortured as a POW?
The title of this blog post is a simple question that Andrew Sullivan wants a White House reporter to ask the President... especially since, as Andrew caught last night in Bush 2.0's speech at the convention, the word torture was never mentioned. Bush 2.0 chose to use the words "beatings and isolation" to describe McCain's treatment... torture was never uttered. I, too, think it's a great question that needs asking...
