My problem with Lieberman's speech last night...

...was that he kept coming back to the theme that John McCain will be able to change the partisan rancor that has locked up DC over the last 8 years... my problem with this is that Bush 2.0 said the exact same thing when he was running in 2000 and it only got worse when he became President.  Bush 2.0 has thumbed his nose at the Congress (whether Republican or Democrat) too many times to count on issues that have cost lives and spent us into a hole.  That brings me back to Lieberman's speech... how can he expect us to believe that putting another Republican in the top spot promising the same thing as candidate before him will help to cure this partisan gridlock?  I know I don't believe him and you shouldn't either.

Michael Moore got a shout out from Lieberman last night too... and today, Mr. Moore slams Lieberman for it.

Let's also remember Lieberman introducing Senator Obama just two years ago... (Hat tip to A. Sullivan for the catch)... my, how times have changed:
