So much for the McCain camp's "openness"

The AP is reporting that "Sarah Palin is effectively turning over questions about her record as Alaska's governor to John McCain's political campaign..."... WOW... talk about cleaning up Washington... if this gives us any indication of how a McCain presidency would govern, it sounds like they would just sweep everything under the rug while denying that there is anything to see here... who does that remind you of? Bush 2.0 anyone? On the surface "troopergate" seems pretty benign but when you start reading articles like the one linked to above, you might, like I am, become more suspicious... the McCain camp is acting more and more like it's got something to hide rather than wanting to "...carefully shape her image for voters in the rest of the country."
You can shape that image by letting Gov. Palin hold a news conference with real reporters and real questions... but I guess that would be a stretch too far.
