Andrew Sullivan details more "un-truths" by Sarah Palin
During Sarah Palin's interview last night with Sean Colms (Part 2 airs tonight), she answered two questions that piqued Andrew Sullivan's "BS" detector enough to write two posts on the subject HERE and HERE.
The first instance details Palin saying that she watched Tina Fey's impersonation of her on Saturday night live but WITHOUT THE SOUND. Two times in answering the question, Palin makes clear that she didn't listen to the sketch, just watched it with the volume down... uh-huh.
The second instance is Palin's retelling of how she accepted the VP position from McCain. As Andrew notes, it doesn't match up even close with what the campaign and even her husband Todd claims how things went down. Palin claims that she took the vote of her daughters on the decission while Todd explains that he took their cell phones away so they could keep the secrect until they met up with Mom.
Now, these are minor points to make but when taken in context of how Palin has presented herself on the stump by repeating LIES, these smaller fibs take on a bigger meaning... we've already gone through eight years of lies by an administration, who wants another four?
