McCain vs. SEC Chairman Cox

John "against government regulation before I was for it" McCain is aiming his fight to gain ground on the debate about our economic crisis to SEC Chairman Christopher Cox.

McCain said he would fire Cox if he were President... which legally he can't do.

Mr. Cox responded with a letter disagreeing with McCain that he hasn't done anything with a long list of actions the SEC has taken in regards to the current economic crisis.

The Wall Street Journal bashes McCain over the head for using Cox as his scapegoat.

And today, McCain confuses the FEC with the SEC as he refined his speech to reflect that he, as President, would ASK for Cox's RESIGNATION... instead of FIRING HIM... which, as stated above, he wouldn't legally be able to do.

All I can say is: wow.
