Hypocrite McCain

There have been a number of instances where McCain and his campaign have railed against one thing while behind the scenes they are just as guilty, and usually more so, than the accusations and attacks they lob out there.  Here are a few that I want to highlight...

1. Last week McCain was railing against Obama and his supposed "adviser", Fannie Mae chairman Frank Raines, as evidence that Obama is to blame for the mortgage mess we find ourselves in.  Karen Tumulty of Time knocks this down but then today, the NYTimes reports on how McCain campaign manager, Rick Davis, received over $30,000 per month for five years as president of a lobbying group set up by Frannie and Freddie.

2. When all of the financial world was crumbling last week, McCain became a proponent of regulation when, in fact, he was at the center of all of the deregulation that caused the situation we find ourselve in... well, now McCain wants to do the same kind of deregulation with our health care system as he did with our financial system.

3. And lastly, McCain has been railing against the golden parachutes that executives get when they leave a company... even when their record at that company doesn't support such a package.  Carly Fiorina, former CEO of Hewlett-Packard and McCain surrogate, got a $42 million dollar package after being fired from the company which had lost 20,000 jobs and 50% of stock value under her guidence.  When McCain was asked about it this moring, he didn't know the details!  See below for yourself:
