Sorry Wendy Button but you're so, so wrong
Wendy Button, former speech writer for Sen. Edwards, Sen. Clinton, Sen. Kerry and Sen. Obama has left the democratic party because she feels that it has been the dems that have gone against women and working people in this election. She couldn't be more wrong. How did she actually convince herself that it's the dems and not the repubs who are supposedly using working people as props and tearing down women? I kid you not... you can read her article kissing the dems goodbye RIGHT HERE.
She laments this kind of treatment of women and working people and places the blame on the dems? This is ridiculous. After the 8 years that we have lived through, she is going to be voting for McCain. And that's her right and I'm fine with that. However, when she is so misguided by the belief that it's the dems fault for her feelings, that I have a problem with. This kind of justification is a prime example of what Sen. Obama calls the "silly season" of politics. Wendy, I'm sure the dems are just fine with your decision. See ya!

Hi Ms.Purple, I came upon your blog when I was trying to find out more about W. Button. I'd just read the article she wrote and from the odd tone and insubstantive 'facts' she provided, I just wanted to know if she was more self-hype and sour grapes, or if she really had decent credentials. As of this google search, I have yet to find anything of import.
Like you, I am neither Dem nor Repub. I try to find out who the best candidate for the job is and vote. So, when I saw your common sense article here, I was happily surprised.
Anyway, thanks for the blogsite, I hope to be reading more of it.

Thanks for reading... my little blogging experiment is coming to a close with this election so I don't know how much I'm going to be posting after the election but I have a feelin' that I'll drop back down to my 2-5 posts per month like before recommitting myself to this effort at the beginning of the year given the historic election that's coming to a close.

Seems like Ms.Wendy is attributing press comments to the Democrats- Like Palins wardrobe and Plumber Joes lack of a licence. Maybe she never heard the garbage spewed by the republicans about Mrs Clinton- She'll regret her little fit!
