The below ad is from the Obama campaign and touches on something that I've been thinking about for a week or so now and what a commenter, Bones, brought up in a comment to my "Landslide." post... namely that this is the kind of election where you will want to tell you kids and grandkids that you were there and that you voted for Obama. The only time that I can remember feeling some sense of this feeling was with Reagan in 1980... but then again, I was 8 and couldn't vote.
